I am labour and innovation economist with over two decades of experience researching how digital technologies reshape work, organisations and the labour market.
My research provides evidence-based analysis of how technologies like generative AI transform job quality, rules and risks at work, and neuroinclusion. I also evaluate labour market policies such as short-time work and AI regulation. I am passionate about using my research to solve real-world problems, and I provide practical recommendations and tools for key stakeholders to maximise economic impact and social benefits.
I bring a global perspective, having worked in the US, UK, France, Singapore and Australia, leading projects worth over USD 4 million and receiving awards for teaching and research.
I am currently Vice-Chancellor's Senior Research Fellow at RMIT where I lead the FLOW-GenAI initiative (Future of Labour, Organisation and Work with Generative AI). I am also affiliated with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S) and the Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre (OTARC).
