Awarded the Solow Fellowship for a post-doc at Princeton University

After my PhD, Prof. Robert Solow (Nobel Prize of Economics, MIT) awarded me the Solow Award from the Cournot Centre for Research in Economics, and I carried out my research at Princeton University.

My project analysed how technology-human interactions transform work and organisations, was conducted under the supervision of Professor Jose Scheinkman.

PhD in Economics from University Paris-Dauphine

My PhD examined how the adoption of new technologies and innovative organisational practices reshapes workplace information systems and transforms social interactions between workers. By formalising the productive complementarities between tasks and the social interactions among workers, the thesis explains why, even at identical skill levels, lower-paid workers are more exposed to unemployment. Drawing on French datasets, it shows that exclusion from the modernisation of workstations contributes to persistent career inequalities. The analysis also quantifies how technological and organisational change affects workforce renewal within firms, measuring shifts in skill structures, job creation and destruction, and workforce diversity.

MPhil in Innovation, Technology and Employment from University Paris Dauphine

This post-graduate degree provided the foundation for understanding how technologies transform our society, businesses and the economy. This degree inspired me to pursue my PhD. I obtained this post-graduate degree with distinction (ranked 1st), and was awarded a national grant to fully finance my PhD.

MPhil in Macroeconomic Modelling and Forecasting from University Paris I- Pantheon-Sorbonne

This post-graduate degree at the University Paris I- Pantheon Sorbonne is one of the most advanced and demanding degrees in France in macroeconomic modelling. It provided a solid foundation for understanding how to use macro-econometric models for policy analysis and simulation as well as a strong aptitude for identifying and solving real-world problems with economic modelling and forecasting techniques.

I have pursued my research with leading research centres in Australia and Europe. In Australia, I currently serve as a Research Affiliate, Associate Investigator, and member of a College of Experts, connecting my work on digital transformation, labour markets, and mixed methods (quantitative, qualitative, and digital) with multidisciplinary expertise. Earlier in my career, as a Senior Lecturer in France and the UK, I was affiliated with several CNRS-recognised and European research centres, which broadened my expertise in labour economics, comparative policy, and international collaboration.

The ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S) is a cross-disciplinary, Australian research centre, which aims to create the knowledge and strategies necessary for responsible, ethical, and inclusive automated decision-making. The ADM+S Centre brings together universities, industry, government and the community to support the development of responsible, ethical and inclusive automated decision-making.

Member of College of Experts | Centre for Inclusive Employment (CIE)

Thanks to my pioneering research on complementarities between neurodiversity and technology, I was invited to be a member of the College of Experts for the Centre of Inclusive Employment where I provide expertise on how digital technologies and AI can drive innovative organisational practices for a more inclusive and productive workforce. As part of the College of Experts, I contribute to guiding the Centre’s research priorities and knowledge translation activities to ensure that evidence-based strategies support more inclusive and effective disability employment policies.

The Centre for Inclusive Employment is Australia's first Disability Employment Centre of Excellence. It is an initiative of the Australian Government with an investment of over AUD20M over 4 years to improve employment outcomes for people with disabilities. The Centre works with employers, service providers, researchers, and people with lived experience of disability to promote inclusive workplace practices, sustainable employment pathways, and innovation in disability employment services.

Associate Investigator | proposed ARC Centre of Excellence on Quality of Work in a Digital Age (QWiDA)

I am an Associate Investigator with the proposed ARC Centre of Excellence for Quality Work in a Digital Age (QWiDA), which seeks to enable a future where workers and organisations are empowered by technology rather than beholden to it. The Centre addresses the urgent need for quality work as a source of productivity, well-being, and social cohesion, providing a unique platform for organisational leaders, policy-makers, technologists, and academia to shape the future of work collaboratively. QWiDA is built around three interconnected streams—Augmented Working, Networked Workplaces, and Future-Ready Workforce—together with a practical Design in Action Hub that trials evidence-based approaches.

Adjunct Researcher | Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre (OTARC)

I have been collaborating with the OTARC since 2018 as an Adjunct Researcher. I am thankful to the previous OTARC Director Emeritus Professor Dissanayake, Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences Australia and Order of Australia, who welcomed me at the OTARC and inspired my pioneering work on neurodiversity and technology.

Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre (OTARC) is Australia’s first dedicated autism research centre and is recognised globally. OTARC strives for a world where Autistic individuals, their families, and their carers thrive, conducting internationally recognised multidisciplinary research that spans four key program areas: Identification and Diagnosis; Supports and Practices for Daily Living; Educational and Vocational Engagement; and Health and Wellbeing. Centre for Employment studies - France

I was an Associate Reserach Fellow at the Centre d’études de l’emploi et du travail (CEET) during 14 years, a leading French research centre dedicated to analysing transformations in work, employment, and labour market institutions. CEET’s research is structured around four major axes: Inequalities, Discrimination and Gender; Public Policies, Employment and Work; Employment, Work and Health Pathways; and Organisational Changes, Work and Employment. These programmes combine interdisciplinary approaches from economics, sociology, law, political science, and ergonomics, and employ both qualitative and quantitative methods with a strong international comparative perspective. Through its partnerships with policymakers, unions, and institutions, CEET plays a central role in shaping debates on labour markets, working conditions, and equality in France and Europe.

LEO (Laboratory of Economics of University of Orleans) - France

I was a previous member of the LÉO (Laboratoire d’Économie d’Orléans), whose research activities combine theoretical and empirical approaches across three teams: Macroeconomics and Finance (financial choices, banking stability, institutions, and monetary unions), Econometrics (financial and panel data econometrics, reproducible research), and International Economics and Sustainable Development (trade, migration, globalization, environment, and sustainability).

ERUDITE (Laboratory of Economics of University Paris XII Creteil) - France

I am previous member of the ERUDITE (Research Team on the Use of Individual Data in Connection with Economic Theory), a research unit in applied economics. As a co-founding member of the CNRS Research Federation Theory and Evaluation of Public Policies (TEPP), ERUDITE specialises in econometric analysis, large-scale data, and the evaluation of public policies. Its research spans three main areas: health and social policies, sustainable cities and labour markets, and business, finance, and globalisation.

CEREQ - France

I am a previous member of CEREQ (Centre d’études et de recherches sur les qualifications), a public research institution under the supervision of the French Ministries of Education and Labour. Since 1971, Céreq has advanced understanding of the links between training, work, and employment through large-scale surveys, field studies, and research. Its mission is to inform policymakers, social partners, and professionals by producing evidence-based insights and evaluation tools.

Centre For Employment Research (Univ. of Westminster) - UK

I am a previous member of the Centre for Employment Research (CER) betweejn 2010-2016 The CER's mission is to advance cutting-edge research on labour markets, education and skills, policy evaluation, and employment relations. CER specialises in the use of large administrative and survey datasets, as well as the design and analysis of Randomised Control Trials, with its applied economists publishing widely across leading economics and social science journals.
